It’s December! The holidays are here, Christmas cheer is being shared, and it’s time to breakout the white elephant gifts and cocktail dresses for the slew of parties you’re about to attend.

In honor of Christmas (my hands down, all time favorite holiday), I’m bringing back Cocktail Thursdays for the month of December and promise to share as many yummy, heart warming, festive recipes as I can find.

So, without further adeu, I present you with the Candy Cane Martini:

Ingredients:

• 1 1/2 ounces vanilla vodka
• 1/2 ounce peppermint schnapps
• 1 ounce club soda
• crushed candy canes for garnish

Preparation:

• Rim a martini glass with crushed candy canes.
• Mix vodka, schnapps, and club soda with ice in a cocktail shaker
• Strain into prepared glass.
